1. Summary
House Math places strictly necessary cookies only on house-math.com. We do not place advertising, analytics, social-plugin, or profiling cookies. Under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)) and UK PECR, cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you request do not require consent. Because there are no optional cookies, there is no “accept all / reject all” choice to make.
Looking up an address does not require an account. Accounts are not currently offered.
2. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small file stored on your device. We also use localStorage and, in some embedded views, sessionStorage for the same operational purposes. In this Policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies.
3. Cookies we use
All items below are strictly necessary. None are used to advertise or measure audiences.
| Name | Type / duration | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|---|
hm.gdpr.notice House Math (house-math.com) | localStorage Until you clear site data | Stores that you have seen this cookie notice and the policy version, so it is not shown on every page load. | ePrivacy strictly necessary; GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests — not repeating the notice) |
4. Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Strictly necessary cookies are placed under the ePrivacy “strictly necessary” exception. Where the GDPR also applies to the personal data in a cookie, our bases are: Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract — providing the Service you request) and, for remembering this notice, Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests — not interrupting you on every page). We do not rely on Article 6(1)(a) consent for cookies because we do not place non-essential cookies.
5. Third parties
The Service does not currently offer sign-in. Map tiles and public-record lookups are server-side or standard image requests and are not used to advertise to you. Fonts are served from house-math.com (first party), not from Google Fonts.
The hosting platform may inject operational scripts required to run the app. Those are not our advertising or analytics cookies.
6. Your controls
You may block cookies in your browser. The only first-party item we set is a local record that you have seen this notice. You may clear localStorage to see this notice again, or open it here:
