Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated into the Terms of Use. It states what you may not do with House Math. We may suspend or terminate access, delete reports, and cooperate with law enforcement when we reasonably believe this AUP has been violated.

1. Permitted use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial evaluation of a residential property in which you have a bona fide interest, in accordance with the Terms.

2. Prohibited conduct

You shall not, and shall not attempt to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose;
  • submit false, misleading, or impersonating information;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, bulk-download, or systematically extract Content, reports, comparables, or estimates, except ordinary interactive use of a standard web browser;
  • access the Service through unauthorized automated means, bots, or unofficial APIs, or circumvent rate limits or technical controls;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or probe models, except to the limited extent applicable law grants a non-waivable right;
  • introduce malware, overload, or attack the Service or other users;
  • harass, spam, or violate another person’s privacy using the Service;
  • infringe intellectual-property or other rights;
  • represent any Estimate as an appraisal, lending decision, official value, or House Math’s endorsement of a transaction;
  • use outputs to build, train, or operate a competing valuation, listing, or property-data product, or to commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent;
  • resell, sublicense, or frame the Service.

3. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, including by reviewing logs and report contents. We may refuse a lookup, rate-limit, block IP addresses, delete reports, and disclose information as described in the Privacy Policy when we believe it is necessary to protect the Service, other persons, or to comply with law. These remedies are in addition to any other rights we have.

This AUP is part of the Terms of Use.
